Greetings everyone,
It’s great to learn how so many of you have found useful ways to support incremental credentialing practices at your campus. Whether it’s by building on existing technology systems, connecting with new tools, or supporting new business processes, these efforts can have a significant impact on the success of innovative programming.
If you have implemented such solutions, this group would love to hear about your experiences. Specifically, I encourage you to share the specific architecture, tools, and configurations you have used, as well as any challenges you encountered and how you overcame them. Sharing your experiences and insights could be incredibly valuable to others who are just getting started with incremental credentialing or looking to improve their existing systems. It could also help us identify best practices and common challenges in this area.
Therefore, I kindly request you to take a moment to share your thoughts and experiences in this forum. Let’s keep the conversation going and work together to make this work easier for everyone.
Thank you all for your valuable contributions!
Credential As You Go has acquired three phases of funding to date. Lumina Foundation funded Phase I, resulting in the Incremental Credential Framework for testing. The Institute of Education Sciences, U.S. Department of Education funds Phase II (Grant R305T210063), which focuses on rapid prototyping of and research on incremental credentials with a national campaign. An anonymous private donor fund at the Program on Skills, Credentials & Workforce Policy at George Washington University funds the development of the prototype Learn and Work Ecosystem Library. Walmart funds Phase III, which focuses on systems change for expansion and sustainability of incremental credentials.
