Michelle Lair is a North Carolina native who has spent over 25 years working in the field of education. She has worked in both secondary education and higher education. Michelle has served on campus as Director of Admissions, at the NC Community College System office as the Career and College Promise CTE Coordinator and currently serves as the Director of Academic Programs for the NC Community College System. Expanding access and increasing success for students is what Michelle seeks to do as she works to contribute to the overall economic development of the state. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina State University, a Master of Arts from West Virginia University, and is currently a doctoral student in Higher Education Administration at West Virginia University.
