Karla has 20-plus years of experience in higher education, mostly at Hispanic Serving Institutions. Her background is in student learning assessment, enrollment management (including financial aid, admissions, advising, and data analytics), inclusive excellence, accreditation, project management, and strategic planning. She also has the recent parent perspective of college going with her two kids. Her master’s degree from the University of Wyoming is in Adult & Postsecondary Education. Karla also serves on various healthcare boards and community organization initiatives.
