We are interested in connecting with others who have had discussions about faculty credentials impacting “transferability” of courses (or credentials) from the community college to university. SACSCOC has faculty credential guidelines posted (https://sacscoc.org/app/uploads/2019/07/faculty-credentials.pdf) which outline faculty credentials for courses to be considered “transferable”. This has been a topic of conversation in our work, specifically looking at AAS credentials transferring toward bachelor degree completion. Has anyone else had conversations around accreditation/faculty credentials in their CAYG work?
